Inside out: the details you feel

01 / UP CLOSETHE DETAILS YOU FEEL
ONE MATERIAL. INSIDE AND OUT. A PLACE FOR YOUR PHONE AND WALLET. COVERED MAGNETS. NO ZIPPERS. ALWAYS ATTACHED. YOUR LENGTH. TWO SOFT PANELS. INDEPENDENTLY YOURS.
01 / THE FEEL

Softness.
Everywhere.

The same soft nylon wraps the outside, lines the inside and continues through the strap. Supple against your clothes, with cloth covering the surfaces your belongings touch.

02 / THE POCKET

Small things.
Within reach.

A full-width pocket for your phone and wallet reaches from the top rim to the bottom seam. Its straight flap closes with two concealed magnets, clear of the divider tops.

03 / THE OPENING

Less fuss.
Less noise.

Lift the angled flap and reach straight in. Fabric-covered magnets replace sharp zipper teeth and loose, jangling hardware. The walls stay full height to keep the opening secure.

04 / THE STRAP

Close today.
Long tomorrow.

The wide strap adjusts from a short carry to a longer crossbody fit. Permanently sewn at both ends, it gets its soft feel from the material itself. No extra shoulder pad.

The wide nylon strap permanently stitched into the bag, with no detachable clips.
05 / THE DIVIDERS

A little structure.
When you need it.

Keep small things separate, fold one panel for a wider camera, or fold both flat for one open compartment. The layout changes with what you carry.

02 / YOUR SPACE

One space.
Your layout.

Separate your camera from the everyday essentials.
Or fold the dividers away for one open compartment.

About this construction study

Each divider is sewn into the front wall. Its free edge meets a small, covered magnet on the pocket face below the closed flap. A soft fold accommodates the shorter reach when a phone and wallet fill the pocket. The pocket flap opens independently, while both outer walls stay full height.

Pocket depth and movement clearances are illustrative and will be checked in a sewn sample.

03 / FROM THE STREET

For the walk.
And what you find.

It started with a camera and long days on foot. A bag should leave you free to notice what is happening around you.

That is where Monofloat began. An everyday bag, shaped by the way it is used.

Concepts being considered.

The crossbody comes first. A few ideas for what might follow, still at the concept stage.
